Hey guys!

I haven't done this in awhile so I'll attempt to update you with all the new activities going on here at the MEU



We have been into the new year for some time now and you guys should be proud to hear this:

We have been around consistently for over 8 months now!! A big oorah goes to some founding members who've been here since July:

These guys have kept with me through turbulent and great times alike! Honestly, these guys have been my motivation for sticking here. These guys have gotten consoles and have gotten away from PC gaming but are still here running console units in the squad.




New Divisions!! Help Wanted!

If you have a console and want to join these divisions please do so! We need all the help we can get in the newly founded Halo Division and the Call of Duty Division which has been here since November when Modern Warfare 2 came out. Also note that if you have Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on PC, you can join our PC section of the COD division.


Call Of Duty Division: If you are signed up onto any Call of Duty Forums, please recruit for us. I can say that I've recruited a few members into the Division this way. Also Please post some more.

These Squad Staff and Divisional Staff have helped in ways that I couldn't simply because I lack the games. But they've done more than that. They started a new culture here at the MEU founding the clan on console platforms that have become way more popular than PC. Also this division is steadily growing alongside the BF division but we will get this division up there. Because simply this is one of the greatest franchises ever! We can support COD4 officially on PC if anyone's interested. Also, if you have a wii, please signup or at least visit the COD division forum. Nukedu has started a gamebattles team for us with arondeslo I believe.

HALO Division: This division is new and you can say its in Beta mode now since its just starting. SA_Osiris_ is probably going to lead it if he accepts the position and zfinster and some others will be assisting him. This is going to be a good game to expand on since the new Halo: Reach is coming out. If any of you have links to any Halo forums we can recruit on, please post them here. If any of you play it on your console, please post it here as well! We will need some Squad Staff for this Division.


Battlefield Division: This is the oldest division still running with the Battlefield 2 branch having been open since July and the Battlefield Heroes Branch opening late August after the Combat Arms Division. We now have Battlefield Bad Company 2 coming out and it is going to be a good, hardcore shooter game to expand on within the Division.

I need some Bad Company 2 forums to recruit on with your help. If you know any, please post here so.

Please post in there possibly before you enter Battlefield Heroes and afterwards like I do. It will make more people want to join if they see more clan members posting there. Its titled [RECRUITING] 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit(Mix) – “Open” +English Updated 11/26/09.

So, yeah that will be helpful and the BF2 branch gets most of its recruits from google. Also, we are going to have to disband the Delta Squad in the BF2 branch and probably make a Bad Company 2 Squad. Oh and yeah: If you are interested in becoming a Squad Staff for the new and upcoming BC2 Branch, please please!!! Post here saying you're interested and if you have the game.

Out of the 65 [active] members in this great clan, I can say that 40 are probably in this division. And, we have many activities planned for our members here. We have an Olympics coming up. (Check this thread here.) We have 3 clan matches upcoming in the next week so our 2nd Platoon will be real busy and our 1st Platoon will be going against the MIA stronghold again! So, wish them luck and if you're Christian, pray for them If you are interested in ANY of the matches going on, talk with your Squad Staff about it and post in your squad threads.

RECRUITMENT: Guys, you will need to do some recruiting if you want to see the clan grow. I find myself recruiting most of the people. So, do as little as post in those recruiting threads up there. If you have friends you want to play with often who are clanless, get them to apply and henceforth, using the Buddy System, they will be placed in your squad most likely. I have some positions open up for the Recruitmen Department if you're interested:

DONATION$: This clan is finally becoming professional. Be glad it is since we are at a good mark so to say. If you can do whatever you can to help us with our servers or help us with contests, please donate what you can to the very smexy donate button Gunnery Sergeant Endrane coded for us. It will go towards our gaming servers, vent server, contests, battlefield bad company 2 servers possibly and to help secure the financial dexturity of the clan. I will make a news bar at the side or edit the current donate sidebar posting donors and anonymous donors there so you guys can see who has donated.




TRAINING: The Training Department has been a little lazy lately--no offense you guys. There have been some boot camp tests and I find myself grading at least 50% of them. But, I still thank you for your work. Soon, I will set up that admin account so that you guys will be given power to assign recruits to their new squads so that you guys don't have to wait on me to come on real late and do it. Roster Development: I plan to make a big roster update but am asking if any of you are willing to help with it. This would probably include coding or BBC coding. BBC coding if its a forum post and HTML or another type of coding if its a page.




Podcast: Inspired by Spino Prime and MIA clan, I wanted to start a podcast to tell of some events going on around here. I will need some gaming footage of the game and then some audio clips of scripted stuff that either I or you write. I will need CoC members if you have mics, please participate in the podcast. Also, any member who has a mic can probably participate with like an interview or how much you like us or whatever it may be




Youtube Group: To further the clan's media archival database, we decided to put up a youtube group. Its been around for exactly a month from yesterday and we need YOU guys to join it. Spino Prime and nukedu run it. If you have any montages, fun videos, any clips or anything, please submit them to the group. Its always nice going to the link in green in the moving bar up at the top of the page and seeing a new video on top So far the group is doing good with 30 members.

More Ranks! Yes, we've added approximately 9 new ranks to the clan which means more room for promotion. For some of you I will probably just give you a promotion to an officer rank or high enlisted rank but without a promotion thread. No promotions thread for the current promotions because the ranks are new and the promotion rate will be high for now. So, once the promotion rate is back, I will put threads back in probably. But yeah we'll have the Brigader General - General ranks and the Warrant Officer Ranks if you're interested. I've had some of you already help me test it out and they look great to be honest


But, yeah I'm really stressing the recruitment with the new division coming out and old divisions being revamped. I'm stressing donations a bit too with our servers needing money to keep on going.

But, please check out all the stuff and if there's anything I need to add please do so--because this feels short.

nice job making this. I hate not being well informed so this is a good thing, maght have to start making platoon or squad news updates as well (I wouldn't mind doing that). Althogh the podcast idea is basically that (whickh i also wouldn't miind helping out with). So good job and i'm sure we'll all appreciate it.

Good Idea Bronx making this. This is a helpful news post. But you should have mentioned the 13th web browser which is now in beta.

Thats what nuked said but.....they can only have 2 and they HAZ to show or else they cannot participate the whole season.

With teams you can have up to 24, so 20 replacements.

Really shows the expansion, but I must stress the donations part, there is now an reliance on you guys to find more members that can help to keep us running, both as a clan AND a community.

A good idea might be that someone takes my admin spot as I was only meant to be a temp while zero was ill. Then they can deal with rank and recruitment.
