Hello fellow Marines enlisted in the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit!

As many of you might have seen, heard, experienced, or witnessed, April was a slow month for the MEU. It may have been my inactiveness due to some real life issues. If it was, and it probably was, I do apologize. I do realize April was one of our slowest months but we still managed to recruit, recruit, recruit for our new division that came out, the Bad Company Division.

But, it is now the booming month of May, where our flowers will grow! We did and are doing a few things this month that should stimulate the clan's activity a bit here and there.



Promotions! Promotions! Promotions! We added Seven (7) new members to the Command Element. So that means 7 more Officers to the Staff that should be helping out more. Here they are:

Captain Ocean
Captain Arondeslo
2nd Lieutenant bytehoven
2nd Lieutenant wmr0919
2nd Lieutenant fun with explos
2nd Lieutenant wolfhide

Congratulate these men with their rank. They should be great additions to the Squad and Batallion Staff levels in your Chain of Command. Also, many of you are still being promoted without promotion threads! Do not be alarmed, this is part of the promotion boom that's happening.



Restructure! There's been a slight restructure. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out; but should be easier in fact. Here's how it should look like:


As I said, shouldn't be too complicated; Eastern Hemisphere means you're from North and South America. Western Hemisphere means you're from Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa.



Betas! Halo: Reach beta has already started from May 3rd and is expected to less one more week. The Medal of Honor Beta goes out May 16th for the PS3 and the 360. These are going to be great games to get into in the Fall of this year when they come out.



The Head Training Office: We've been making a few new DIs lately. Some of them have been doing excellent. Ocean is the Head Training Instructor (HTI) if you're interested in becoming a DI. You will still have to go through me, but if you're interested, you can PM me or Ocean.



Bad Company Division: This new and booming division has become the monster of our clan! They have already an outstanding four 360 squads, one PS3 and one PC squad set up. Been around for over a month, there have been almost as many submitted BC tests as there have been for the current BF2 and BFH boot camp tests.

Also, 2LT fun with explos is setting up a Community Playdate for July 21st 1am GMT/8pm EST/5pm PST. Titled "Project Paydirt," it should be a great way to get our clan name out there in the xbox community! Please PM fun with explos for more information on the Community Playdate.



Battlefield Division: Our still-standing, forefront division still plays Battlefield Heroes and Battlefield 2. Our BF2 squad, the Falcons, led by MAJ Endrane, is getting back into shape. If you play version 1.5 for BF2, please play with them.

Our Battlefield Heroes Branch has been pretty steady with still four active squads, 2 for each batallion. The Deathdealers have gotten a new pair of squad staff to help out that squad, Arondeslo and Ocean have moved up to COs of their Batallions while still helping out their squads, and much more.

Also news in the BFH branch, we will be purchasing a server for 2-3 months. So, we will have a home again for you four squads!



Call of Duty Division: Our modernwarfare 2 branch has died off with inactivity everywhere, but having active spurts within all the squads at some point. This division is waiting eagerly for Call of Duty 7 to repair this humble division. Also, if any of you play COD4, we are trying to set up a PC branch of this game since it is one of the top PC games still.

Please, we need this for this division!

I know many of you have PMed me. Please, with all means continue it! But, please realize that I do get 15-30 PMs a day so I might not be able to reply to them all. It's like not everybody will be able to speak one on one with Mr. President Obama.

But yeah, bring up your issues to me if you wish there. I do read them ALL but I just might not get around to replying to them all. So, yeah just drop it in my mailbox.



Clan Activity: As you may have known, many people have been leaving this clan for various reasons. It hurts us if its a good, loyal member leaving but we can't do much. Please bear with us through this turbulant time.

We need you guys to do your part [if you already aren't doing it]: Be on the forums and contribute posts to your squad topic or whatever. Get in vent and wait for others to join and have a blast there! On PS3 and the Xbox, join a game if you're alone and wait for members to join you. Please join others if they're in a game too.

Try to recruit in game when with other clan members or not. I think that it might be around 50-75% more of a chance to win a recruit's future clanmembership if you recruit them when playing with the clan you're recruiting them for.

Lastly, if you're thinking of leaving, please consider. I don't want you to leave because of inactivity because the clan does go through cycles. If you're thinking of leaving due to some members abusing you, confront me and our staff. And also, please think of how much you hurt us with leaving.

With every member that leaves, it hurts me and my morale and everyone's morale really.

Oohrah! Well done job Bronx! You started small, and look were you are now! You're in charge of this great clan called the 13th MEU. I'm a Proud Member of this Clan.

Congrats on the promotion mates and bomber u r right about the COD divison dying off.....recruiting in mw2 has become extremly impossilbe, me and bullet have tryed to bring the squad back alive by recruiting but no luck. Many of the members that were currently in raptor squad have gone inactive right after joining and/or left the squad and/or clan but im going to try and start a recruitment day on saturdays. So on friday's we practice and on saturday's as i said we will try to recruit. hopfully this plan works.

CoD7: Black Ops will bring in a good number of members!

You've done a great job with this, bronx. I remember, back in November when I joined. It was just 20 or so of us. And our clan was mostly BF:H, we had no servers, not even a cent in the clan funds. Heck, we didn't even have clan funds. But I miss all those guys that left, some of them were my best buds

Great job leading this clan, bronx. Keep leading us on! We will grow until we can't anymore (When the human population cannot support the 13th MEU anymore)

I've only been part of the clan for a few weeks, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I am proud to be part of the 13th MEU.

I was away for a week to florence to check it out. Anyways I'm back!
